The story

The story

Ohio State’s Center for Continuing Medical Education has run on our Mobilize CME platform since 2012, and the relationship goes back further than that. Our founder, Rob Carroll, first worked on OSU CCME while at Switchbox; when he founded Mobilize Cloud, OSU came along as a client, and we’ve been their CME platform partner ever since.

Mobilize CME is a custom ASP.NET application, hosted on Ohio State’s internal medical center IT servers. It handles the full continuing medical education workflow: registration, online payment processing, credit tracking, and certificates. It also reports credits, learners, and activities to the ACCME’s PARS system.

The platform supports every format their program runs — live conferences, grand rounds, online webcasts, and enduring materials — all for more than 105,000 users.

A few years ago, OSU upgraded to the enhanced second version of the platform, first built for Stony Brook Medicine.

“Mobilize Cloud gets the big picture and listens to your vision, then they take that and move it forward in ways you never thought of.”
