Mobilize Cloud (“we,” “us”) is a web development and digital marketing company in Dublin, Ohio. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit mobilizecloud.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

It covers this website only. Our other sites, including LLMs Ledger and Mobilize Pay, and the websites we build for clients, have their own policies. Work we do for clients is covered by our agreements with them.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form or request a free website check, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, company, website address, what you need help with, and your message. Only your email address (and, for the website check, your website address) is required.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider logs basic technical information with each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. When analytics are turned on, Google Analytics also collects how visitors use the site (see Analytics below).

Spam protection. To stop automated spam, our forms check how quickly they were filled in and use a hidden field that only bots complete. We also keep a one-way, hashed version of the sender’s IP address for one hour to limit how many forms one visitor can send. We don’t store the IP address itself with your message.

How we use it

To reply to your message, prepare your free website check, and talk with you about a project.
To keep a record of inquiries so nothing gets lost and we can follow up.
To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
To keep the site secure and stop spam and abuse.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for anyone else’s advertising. We don’t add you to a mailing list because you sent us a message. If we offer a newsletter, you’ll only receive it if you sign up for it, and every email will include a way to unsubscribe.

Where your information goes

Form submissions are emailed to our team at info@mobilizecloud.com and saved as private records in our website’s WordPress database, which only our staff can see. We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our business, and they handle information only to provide their services to us:

WP Engine, which hosts this website.
Google Workspace, for our email.
Google Analytics, for site analytics, when turned on.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 to see how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are viewed and whether a form was sent. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology and collects information such as your approximate location, device, and browser. It doesn’t give us your name or contact details. You can learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

When you follow a link from our site to a client’s site or one of our products, we may add “utm” tags to the link so the other site can see the visit came from us. These tags don’t contain any personal information.

Cookies and your browser

This site doesn’t use advertising cookies. If you choose a light or dark color theme, your browser remembers that choice in its own local storage; it never leaves your device. Google Analytics, when turned on, sets its own cookies as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.

Your browser may send a “Do Not Track” signal. There’s no common standard for responding to it, so the site doesn’t change its behavior based on it, but you can use the opt-out above.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond, work with you, and keep normal business records. The hashed IP address used for spam protection is deleted after one hour. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@mobilizecloud.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws, and we’ll honor them. We won’t treat you differently for making a request.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, hosted on managed WP Engine servers, kept up to date, and monitored. Form submissions are stored privately and only our staff can access them. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. We’ll post the new version here with a new date at the top.
