What is a Chief Web Officer?

The person who owns your web presence: the website, hosting, search, and the tools behind them. Most small and mid-size businesses don’t need one full time, so we do the job from outside, on a fixed monthly retainer.

How involved do we need to be?

As much as you want, and no more. We bring you the decisions that matter, like design direction, new pages, and budget, and handle the rest without needing you.

How is it priced?

A fixed monthly retainer, set after a free planning call. It covers everything in your plan, so you aren’t getting a new quote for every change. Month to month, or a contract with lower pricing for longer terms.

Can you start before we have a website?

Yes. We can set up the domain, email, website, Google Business Profile, and analytics from the beginning, so it’s done right the first time.

How is this different from a maintenance plan?

A maintenance plan looks after the site you have. A Chief Web Officer looks after your whole web presence: planning, new work, search, marketing, and vendors, as well as the site itself.
