Where it came from
From Top CME to a platform CME offices run on
Rob Carroll founded Top CME in 2015, a search engine for continuing medical education events. That work grew into Mobilize CME, the platform Mobilize Cloud now builds and runs for two academic medical CME programs.
Mobilize CME is a custom ASP.NET web application. We built it, and we run it day to day with the same care we give every client site we look after. It sits alongside the rest of our healthcare and CME website work.
What it does
What a CME office needs, in one place
Activity listings
Conferences, grand rounds, webcasts, and enduring materials, searchable by specialty and date.
Calendars
Upcoming activities laid out on a calendar.
Event pages
Each activity has its own page with the agenda, learning objectives, and accreditation statement.
Recurring series
Series such as monthly webcasts are listed alongside one-time events.
Streaming
Grand rounds can be streamed online.
Learner accounts
With an account, learners watch on-demand programs, earn credit, and register for conferences online.
Registration and payment
Learners register online and pay by card.
Credit tracking
Credit hours are tracked automatically for every signed-in learner.
Certificates
Learners get their certificate after completing the post-test.
MOC points
Activities can list Maintenance of Certification (MOC) points alongside CME credit.
