What we do to your site, so you don't have to think about it

An example month

In this example month, three updates are tested on a staging copy first. WordPress core and the SEO plugin pass and go live. The contact form plugin fails the form check, so it is held back and the live site stays unchanged until it is fixed. Then the security scan runs, and the monthly report lists all of it.

  1. 01Copy to stagingWe clone your site to a private staging copy on WP Engine.
  2. 02Update and testWordPress core, plugins, and themes are updated there first, then checked.
  3. 03Push liveOnly tested updates reach your live site. Nightly backups stay ready.
  4. 04Scan and checkSecurity scan, forms, links, and Search Console.
  5. 05ReportA short monthly report of what changed and anything that needs a decision.

Questions

WordPress maintenance questions

What does WordPress maintenance include?

On the Managed plan: monthly WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates tested on a staging copy first, a monthly security scan and cleanup, form, link, and checkout checks, a Google Search Console review, a monthly report, and an hour of development time, on top of managed WP Engine hosting, SSL, nightly backups, a CDN, and uptime monitoring.

Do I have to move my site to WP Engine?

Yes. Every plan is hosted on WP Engine, where Mobilize Cloud is an agency partner. We migrate your site from your current host for free during onboarding.

Is there a contract?

Only if you want one. All plans are month to month, and you can change or cancel any month. If you prefer a contract, we’ll sign one, and longer terms get lower pricing.

Do you offer discounts for multiple WordPress sites?

Yes. Organizations with several sites get custom plans and multi-site pricing, usually on their own WP Engine account that we set up and manage.

What if I only need help occasionally?

On-demand WordPress help is $200 an hour, and larger projects are quoted up front.
