A food maker headquartered in Westerville, Ohio. We built its corporate site and the What’s for Dinner recipe site, and we host and maintain all 12 of its sites, from Marzetti and Sister Schubert’s to New York Bakery, with SEO for three of them.

The story

The Marzetti Company is a food maker headquartered in Westerville, Ohio. It makes dressings, dips, sauces, breads, pasta, and croutons for retail and foodservice, sold under brands such as Marzetti, Sister Schubert’s, and New York Bakery.

The sites came to us from another agency in 2022. One of our first moves was to take over all maintenance and migrate every site to WP Engine, which made the whole portfolio far easier to manage. We now host and maintain 12 sites in all, and we later ran a full brand design refresh of the corporate Marzetti site.

For the brand sites, we act as an extension of their marketing team. We handle maintenance, edits, and content across the sub-brands — adding products, adding recipes, and building custom landing pages when they bring us a product launch or campaign. We added structured data for recipes and products, and integrated MikMak product locators so shoppers can find where to buy.

We built the What’s for Dinner recipe site, and we handle SEO for Marzetti, Sister Schubert’s, and New York Bakery, with a heavy ongoing effort on What’s for Dinner.
