    Questions

    Local business schema questions

    What is local business schema?

It’s a small block of code that tells search engines your business name, address, phone, and hours in a format they read reliably. It doesn’t show on the page.

Will schema get me to the top of Google?

Not by itself. It helps search engines understand and trust your business details, which supports local search alongside your Google Business Profile and reviews.

Does my WordPress SEO plugin already do this?

Plugins like Yoast add basic organization schema. Full local business details, like hours and business type, usually take an add-on or code like this.

What if I have more than one location?

Make one block per location, each on that location’s own page, with its own address, phone, and hours.
